We're building Qiwen around a simple vision: an after-school experience where students feel excited to learn, comfortable being themselves, and inspired to explore.
Our approach combines structured Mandarin education with cultural discovery, creative arts, and hands-on learning. We believe academic growth and joyful childhood experiences can, and should, go hand in hand.
Through a thoughtful balance of learning, creativity, and play, we hope to nurture children who are curious about the world, confident in their voices, and eager to keep learning.

Meet the people behind Qiwen
Siyu Offor
Principal, Founding teacherSiyu brings a background in bilingual Mandarin education, curriculum development, and educational program operations. Her experience working with children and designing learning experiences shapes Qiwen's approach to building strong language foundations through thoughtful, engaging instruction. She is passionate about creating an environment where children feel supported, curious, and confident as they learn.
Creative art director, Founding teacherFleena Zhang
Fleena is an artist and designer whose lessons help students expand their creativity. Through visual arts, storytelling, and imaginative projects, she connects language and culture to artistic expression, encouraging children to discover new ideas and take pride in their creations.
